"Renaissance"
The piece that named the collection, "Renaissance" was the piece that I first painted when I was finding my way back to the studio and to creativity again. I really pushed the boundaries of where I wanted my work to go with her, and because she helped me find my creative spark, she holds an extremely special place in my heart.
"Renaissance," is full of bright colours, dancing mark making, energy, and powerful movement. There isn't a single piece pf this canvas that doesn't have oodles of colourful layers of paint on her, and the happy energy I feel every time I look at her is wonderful.
